've always thought Angel was more earthy than any of the other characters on the show, he's very down to earth and a solid guy, someone you can always depend on which is why I choose Angel to do an earth piece on. This piece was made for a buffy forum challenge on the Buffy Verse Four Elements Challenge.

I chose to do the piece on one of my favourite episodes of her her first episode in Angel where we get to see all the ranges of her breakdown, I found in Buffy they seemed to cap her abilities maybe because Angel is the 18 version of buffy! But I adore this episode I love seeing Faith rip into town and properly breakdown at the end in Angel's arms. I've seen loads of Buffy and Dean wallpapers and although they are amazing and kinda cute together I've never really been able to picture them together, I think it would get boring very quickly, but I've always thought that Dean and Faith would make a really good pair, they have similar outlooks on live but Dean is more stable (for lack of a better word) than Faith, and I think that if they got together he'd ground her, but they'd still have that bad ass vibe about them. This wallpaper was done for a Buffy Forum Challenge where I was giving a piece of classical music and asked to create a wallpaper.

I received Bach: Cantata, BWV 147, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring as my classical inspiration, and when I heard it made me think of period drama's and mornings, like looking out over the fresh morning countryside, very English and brisk morning views hence the colours I've used deep blues with the crisp light blues in the images and the hazy orange browns to show the sun.

The music is very peaceful and made me think of the dream that Damon gave Rose before he staked her to make her comfortable, it was such a beautiful scene, almost as if she'd woken up from a nightmare to find herself home again looking out over the English countryside of her time. ]]>Date: 06/16/2012]]> Television Fanart Sat, 16 Jun 2012 15:40:13 +0000 Why Me? I choose the very common philosophical question that almost everyone asks themselves (especially on bad days) WHY ME? the scene that popped into my head was when Doyle first found Angel and spoke to him about his destiny to help people and Angel asked Why Me?

The piece tries to show the influence of Doyle as Angel's guardian Angel on his shoulder and the dark side of Angel on the other side to emphasize Doyle's Point.

For a Buffy Forum Challenge I was given a single word and told to make a wallpaper the word was Saint.  I wasn't sure what to do with this one I first thought of something to do with Angel, (as always my mind always goes to angel :) ) But I thought about it and for some reason I got it in my head somehow that Faith called Buffy "Saint Buffy" once but I can't find the quote anywhere so I think I made it up, but it gave me an idea for a wall.
So basically the wallpaper shows Faith at the foot of a statue dedicated to Buffy showing her strength and its titled Our Saviour. the point of it is to show that Faith is always in the shadow of saint Buffy who can do no wrong. I've tried to make it look like Faiths had a go at the statue trying to destroy it but no matter what she does she can't destroy it she can only put a few dents in the statue, much like what she did to Buffy a few dents here and there but she could never take her down. Well that's how I understand Faiths frustration with Buffy no matter what she does she can't make a difference where Buffy is concerned.
